Superb pie! Stopped in and got an XL pepp and half mush, along with 8 of their signature wings. Wings were a mix of bbq and some heat but a good size. Pizza was excellent. Great crust, a little flop and a great undercarriage
This place was recommended to me by my son. It was very good. We got the all meat pizza. I'm new to the area and don't like big commercial pizza chains and was very happy I tried this and really liked it. We'll definitely be back for more. 🍕♥️
We ordered through Uber Eats to try this out tonight and will definitely be getting this again. We got the Italian Sub without the Boss sauce but I am glad we got a side of it because it was fantastic. The Ohio style pepperoni pizza was delicious and the cheesecake and cannolis were so good! Definitely a 10/10.
In 1976 Antonino Nino Russo moved from Carini, Sicily to East Windsor, New Jersey to live with his uncle, Sal Scavo and work in his uncle’s NY-Style Pizzeria, Sal's Pizza. Under the tutelage of Uncle Sal, Nino learned (and mastered) the art of NY-Style pizza making. From the late 1970’s to the mid 1980’s, the Scavo family opened 13 NY-Style Pizzerias across the Country. In 1982, Nino and his wife, Elena, along with lifelong friend, Vincenzo Vinny Buzzetta, relocated to Ohio to take over operation of Picnic Pizza, one of the original 13 Scavo family owned NY-Style Pizzerias. Nino has continued to operate Picnic Pizza for over 42-years, where he passed the techniques learned from Uncle Sal down to his Sons, Vincent and Anthony Russo.
